warmth

Let’s talk about the weather. Today is the warmest it’s been in a while and I couldn’t be happier about it. Even though I’ve lived in New England all my life, I’m just not a winter person. My people weren’t meant to live in sub-zero temperatures. But today is good. It’s only 50-something but I still feel a lot better than I have in a long time. I think everyone else feels it too. Just walking around campus you can tell that people’s spirits are lighter, there’s a bounce in their step, and the Canada Geese have all but disappeared from the populace. I went grocery shopping earlier today and the walk to Star Market was downright lovely. Just the fact that I don’t have to wear hiking socks is incredible. Hope everyone enjoys these next few days of warmth.
