What did you do this weekend?

So, as some people noticed from my last blog post, I do indeed play Fortnite for Northeastern University, as much as it pains me to say. While my friends who know about it make fun of my mercilessly, I keep going because it is fun for me, and has caused me to meet a variety of wonderful people. My reason for bringing this up is to mention/humble brag about my accomplishment this weekend. Me and my friend Troy competed in a tournament this weekend, and after a long ass time of play all day Saturday, we came out on top with each of us pocketing $250. This was my first time ever competing in something for any money, and to end up winning it is an amazing feeling. This whole experience has me excited to continue to improve and compete in the next stage. Okay humble brag OVER, now it's time to get back into real life.

Last week was rough with the absolutely insane amount of work and writing I had to do, and much to my chagrin, THIS WEEK IS WORSE. Not only do I have more work, but I went to the Beanpot last night, and I am going to the Bruins game tonight. Yes, I could have said no or something along those lines, but I have anxiety about saying no. Fight me. Then, on Friday I am getting on a 5 hour bus to go meet a friend of mine at Fordham. Thursday is nothing in particular, but I do still have a decent amount of work to get ready for the upcoming days. On Friday, I have my second research proposal for Biology due, alongside a lab report for Chemistry. Sunday, there is Sapling homework for Chemistry among other things (including being out of state), and then I have a quiz in Bio due Monday. That's the macrocosmic view of everything I know of currently, but hey that's subject to change. Good luck to everyone in their studies, I'll see you all in therapy.

One of the things keeping me going has been music. This new band I found called Surfaces has quickly become one of my favorites. Their style is really chill, yet also gives me vibes of what can only be described as "looking through a video camera from the 80's". I'd just like to personally thank music for being dope, keep doing you music.

Just a few words left, not many, but just a few. Gotta get it done before I go to the Bruins game. Just a few. I can do it. I got this for sure, nothing can stop me, I am the-
