review

https://pitchfork.com/reviews/albums/6709-californication/

This is an interesting review of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers' most popular album Californication from the year it came out 1999. I disagree with this writer's criticism of this album; he deservedly complements all the instrumentalists (Flea and Frusciante) but he does not like some of the lyrics that Kiedis puts out there. I don't disagree with the fact that some random lines in this album do have poorly written lyrics, but this writer fails to recognize some of the genius, heart-wrenching, and emotional lyrics that Kiedis sings in many songs as well.
