Spring Break

And hello again guys. It feels awkward to begin writing the blog again after a whole week rest back in Miami. It was March 2nd on Saturday night when I packed my stuffs to prepare to chill in Miami with my two best friends under the best weather. Well, it did not start off well since I did not know that it was 30 bucks to let the guide in the airport transport my luggage from Boston to Miami; my luggage turned out to be bigger than I expected. Worrying about the double amount of money for the roundtrip, I could not deny my excitement to be under the sunshine and breeze during this winter. My friends and I reserved a spot on the beach. Lying down and enjoying the spectacular view of the harmony of the sky and ocean was one of the best experience I have had in my life. Other than that, we swam in the ocean. I can deal with fish swimming with me, but it was the ray, which was a quadruple size of my hand, gliding really fast along the shore that gave me goosebumps all over my body. I ran to my friends who were lying down on the sand, and then we decided to not enter the Sunny Isles Beach shore anymore. Other than the beach, we had a 45-minute speedboat ride that included several 180 degrees turns and few introductions of famous millionaire housings. We enjoyed shopping at the Bayside Marketplace. We enjoyed eating sushi, McDonald's, and all-you-can-eat steakhouse. However, we regret going to Cvi Che 105 restaurant that I have found beforehand as one of the best restaurants in Miami according to the online list. The sauce was horrible. I had a deep dilemma of whether the issue depends on our unique taste or the restaurant's terrible idea.

On Thursday morning, I got back with the expected extra 30 bucks for my luggage. My friends and I apparently missed the 6:50 am flight because of two reasons. One was my time management issue. I had to mention the luggage transport issue earlier at the front, about more than an hour before the flight time. The other reason was that my friend left his wallet and found out that it was missing when we arrived at the airport. Yeah, the situation itself was funny and frustrating at the same time.

For three days from Friday, I went to my Boston College friend's dormitory to play with him and other friends who came from UMASS Amherst. Usually, this is the period of watching horror films at midnight until early morning. However, this time we also watched other genres since we had two spare nights in a row. We watched The Big Short and Pulp Fiction for the exception of horror movies; I wanted to watch The Big Short again since I had some difficulties understanding financial vocabs and concepts. For horror movies, we watched Dead Silence and Epitaph. I recommend you guys to watch Epitaph, a 2007 Korean movie with the English subtitle if you wish since it was and is still the scariest movie for me so far in terms of jumpscares and overall plot.
