I know the title is not so creative because I have no idea what to put as a title and even what to write.
Honestly, unlike the past few months, I am getting really tired to listen and take notes on the morning Biology lecture class; and also I am tired with Rock music "lecture" class. Since my classes are all scheduled in the morning, I had decided to sleep around 1:00 am at most to get enough sleep and pay attention to morning lectures. Additionally, I thought active note-taking, whether on computer or notebook, would wake me up during the lecture. However, it turns out that the class itself is not so fun, and I was getting tired of the habitual style of the lecture for an hour. Today, I closed my laptop and just sat on the chair listening carefully to every word that the professor said out loud. I did not see any difference except I could have understood some of her information better since I'm solely concentrating on her words and not the notes I was taking simultaneously. And since she records her lecture online, I can revisit and listen again to take notes for information that I forgot.
In my opinion, today's service at John D O'Bryant school was more comfortable and efficient. Not simply because it was my second time but the time management and students' hard work in their essays. Last time, I was struggling with what I should do and did nothing but sitting and observing what the students were doing. Today, students were more open to me, so I was comfortable helping their outlines and paragraphs. Well, I also had a quick chat with them about life at Northeastern University since they were 9th-grade students, who were so curious about college life. And I said, "It depends, but overall better than a high school life for me."
