This week was one hell of of a week. I took a biology exam on Thursday. It was probably the test that I felt I was most underprepared. Oh man was it hard! The test was on evolution, which is supposedly easy, but I don’t know why, but it was hard. I felt pretty bad when I left the room that day. I probably should have studied a bit more, but I just had so much work to do. Let’s talk about the SuperBowl now. I watched the SuperBowl at my friend’s dorm at Rubenstein Hall. We got the lounge to ourselves so it was pretty chill. We ordered Domino’s and we were all having fun. Going into the SuperBowl, I was pretty excited about the game. The legendary Tom Brady against a high powered offense in the Rams. I was also really excited because I have never been in Boston whenever the Patriots won, so it would be cool to see the culture in Boston if they do win. I gotta say, this SuperBowl is probably one of the most boring games I have ever watched. It was a total of 16 points between the two teams. That was a record low. Although The team I wanted to win did win, I was quite disappointed in the game. It was extremely boring. No one wants to see defences being good. All the fans want to see are touchdowns. On top of the boring game, there was the halftime show. I don’t really have anything to say about this halftime show. All I have to say about it is it was TRASH. It was a Maroon 5 x Travis Scott halftime show. I cannot believe how bad it was. The background music was way too loud, they were singing off tune etc. Travis Scott was not Travis Scott. I don’t know why he was so bad. Ironically enough, the youtube video of the halftime show has the most dislikes for a halftime show ever. I just wished it could have been like the Katy Perry halftime show a few years ago. The only thing I thought was good was She will be Loved by Maroon 5. All in all, it was a pretty disappointing night. I want to talk about service learning now. I had it yesterday. I thought it was easier than I thought. It’s just really chill. We had to talk to the students and brainstorm with them ideas for their essay. Our main goal is just to get the students to say their ideas out to make it clearer to them so they know what they’re writing. Unfortunately, I cannot give them any ideas to write about in terms of supporting details because there are specific books they read. Some of the students were pretty shy, but some of them were pretty talkative in the way they responded to me when I asked them questions. Overall, I think it’s going to be a really cool and rewarding experience to gain.
