This week was a pretty fun week to be honest. On Friday, I was finally revealed for my fraternity.  I am officially a brother of Pi Delta Psi. Our probate was honestly pretty fire because it was hilarious. I’ve worked really hard to get to this point and I’m proud to be a brother. After the probate was a crossing mixer. Let’s just say that wasn’t really a fun time, for me at least. It was pretty fun to be on the other side of it though. I got scrolled really hard. Scrolling is basically you elder giving you shots whenever they want you to. I was gone pretty early into the party tho. I was scrolled soooooo hard, you wouldn’t even understand. I basically puked and knocked out and woke up the next morning with a hangover and not knowing where I was. I slept in my big’s room which was pretty good. He took good care of me. But honestly, I don’t really remember what was going on. But I felt good because I was finally part of greek life, something I was striving to do since the first semester. It’s a lot different now I don’t know why but I feel more confident now. Other than that, nothing else big really happened. I went to service learning again. It wasn’t a standard day surprisingly enough. I woke up late, so I was a few minutes late to O’Bryant. When I got to service learning, there was already a class in the Writer’s Room. I had no idea what they were doing and Heather didn’t fill me in, so I was pretty lost. It looked like they were doing sharing short stories they wrote with each other. One student was at the front with a book, it looked like a collection of short stories the students write, and they were just reading it out loud to the rest of the class. After that, they wrote comments about each other, what they liked and what they didn’t like. But I didn’t know what they were writing about. After that, we did some reporting of surveys into the database, a pretty standard task for us to do.
