This week was kind of different from most weeks. On Thursday, I went to my first rave. I went to Zomboy. Going into the rave, I wasn’t really into EDM and especially his type of EDM which is more hard, and as of now, I can still say that I don’t like hard music. The rave was still fun because I went with my friends and that made the night. It’s just fun to spend time with them and dance with them. Even though it was a Thursday, I still went because it was a lot of our first time at a rave, and we thought might as well have some fun, so we did it. I think it was pretty worth it. During the weekend, I went to a banquet with my sister organization to my fraternity. One of my friends took me to go, so I was actually a lucky one to go. I was honestly not as I had expected. I had expected it to be a lot more interesting, but honestly, it was quite boring. There wasn’t much to do to be honest. It was just a photobooth, with time to mingle, food, and a senior roasts. I think it was kind of boring because I didn’t really know anyone there, so I wasn’t really talking to that many people. I do have to say that the food was pretty good, so I didn’t feel like I wasted that much money. This week was also that last week of service learning at O’Bryant. To be honest, it’s a bittersweet feeling. I’m glad that it’s over because I don’t want to wake up at 8 anymore on Tuesdays. That was honestly so hard for me to do. I also wasn’t really interested in tutoring kids, but it was okay. It was bitter because I didn’t really want to leave the O’Bryant staff because they’re so welcoming and sweet and I’m going to miss them after. I might miss the kids a little because some actually wanted to learn and I was willing to teach them. They wrote us a card which was very nice of them.
