Hi My Name is Cameron and I have been addicted to the Bachelor for 3 weeks, this is my story

Recently some of my friends got me into the hit reality TV show the Bachelor. Now at first I was against watching the Bachelor. It just didn't seem manly enough for my clearly very masculine lifestyle. Another reason I was against it was that on New Years ABC was not functioning in the area I was watching, so the advertisement for the Bachelor played 15 times straight. I hate ads normally but seeing the same one 15 times straight for a show you don't even like is straight out of the CIA torture manual. So when my friends asked me to watch it with them I was reluctant at first to participate, but I conceded. Now I truly believe I am a full blown addict, I have finally lost the last shred of respect I had for myself. It look forward to it every week, it's the first time in my entire life that I have actually looked forward to a Monday. You might be asking yourself, where is Cam going with this, will let me tell you. Since starting this show I have developed likes and dislikes for the participants based on their actions and personalities, as all watchers do, and I will now share these with you. First off, I hate it when people start drama for absolutely no reason, there was this one girl who was like Colton, the Bachelor, needs to know what this girl is truly like. What she means by this is that the other girl beat her in the Miss USA competition, which I feel like it would be better if she didn't inform him of that, and she was competitive while she did it. Obviously a completely unnecessary piece of information that really had absolutely no affect on his relationship with either girl. It was just useless drama that stressed the guy out needlessly, if I didn't love the girl that was complained about so much I would have just cut them both. Secondly I dislike when the women are outwardly rude to one another. Now I understand it's basically a game show and there will be a winner and 19 other losers but still have some sportsmanship. Woman will cut into each other's conversations and talk trash behind people's backs, at times it can be hard to watch. I think there is some level of trash talk that comes with competition and there is just taking it too far, sometimes the women on the show cross the line. I honestly can't believe I just wrote a blog post about the Bachelor, don't tell 5th grade Cam that this happened, he will be so disappointed. I don't know if I'll watch this show beyond this season, I'm definitely invested for now but I've shaken worse habits. Well this has been a weird week for me, lot's of firsts. Okay that's all I have to say. In closing, conflicted about the Bachelor, ashamed of myself, and go Hannah G.

Love you all,

Cam
