Late Night Blogging [Coffee]

This week just started but it already feels like Thursday. Oh well, it is currently Tuesday so I would say that the feeling is about right… To be honest I have no clue what to write about because I think that I ran out of ideas. So, for the sake of this post, I will talk about something generic and hope one might find it interesting. Today’s topic is going to be coffee and its place in my life.
Have you ever wondered how our everyday life would look like if coffee would not exist? I believe that it would be different for sure, but would that difference be for better or for worse? Well, that is a question that could be discussed for a serious amount of time and this post is not going to be about it. Nevertheless, I will share some of my personal experience and bits of knowledge regarding coffee. (even though no one reads my posts anyway (-_-) Lol)
It has been almost 6 years since I got a cup of that “demonic potion” also known as coffee. Yes, it is true. I was 14 when I tried first coffee ever. It was one of those instant coffees. I do not remember how it tasted but I do remember for sure that I was not impressed. Fast-forward a few years, I became a vicious coffee drinker but not an addict. After I moved to the US, I started to wonder why people drink coffee so often, and a few months later I managed to derive an answer from my own experience. It was simple and straight forward. People drink coffee because it gives you POWER!!! (but then you get a caffeine withdrawal) However, all the negative side effects aside, coffee is indeed a peculiar beverage with a rich history that started all the way from Ethiopia. I am not that familiar with an actual history of coffee so I will leave to you to do some research.
I spent at least two years exploring different types of coffee, starting from a regular (and very generic) ‘americano’ and going all the way to the traditionally brewed Ethiopian coffee. Coffee had an interesting place in my life especially during my high school. It became some sort of a hobby. I was spending hours in different coffee shops, studying and trying out different coffee-based beverages. I am still learning and exploring because I have not yet found that perfect taste which would fit my taste preferences. Maybe, as I continue to explore this field, with time I would be able to gather enough knowledge and practice and end up opening my own coffee shop.
                P.S.

This might be only the first part of my story about coffee. I still have to think through a few details before actually continuing this topic. (plus, I need to add more words so that it would actually be five hundred words by the end of this very paragraph).
