Hmm... Another Exciting Blog

Here we go again. It was just a week, but It felt like a month to me. Long breaks are not my thing… I just need two or three days off the grid and I am ready to jump back in. I just can not afford to waste my time. I have done plenty of that during my middle and high school years.

       
            To be honest, I have no idea what to write about. It seems like everyone is writing about their spring break. Well, I wish could use this topic for my post but there is just simply nothing to write about. I could even summarize it by simply saying that it was monotonous and uneventful.

Talking about breaks, I do not even remember when was the last time I actually enjoyed my time off. For this past few years, my primary objective was to study. That is why during most of my breaks I was either doing extra work/homework or tried to escape my everyday routine by the means of mindless procrastination. For some time, it was quite helpful but eventually, it evolved into some sort of unhealthy habit…

Hours passed, and I still did not have a single idea for today's blog. A few minutes later I realized that I had some stuff already prewritten and I decide to go through my old high school writing assignments which I have on my Google Drive. Well... It was a mistake. I wasted two and a half hours by scrolling through a huge list of folders, documents, presentations and so forth. I believe that most of that time I was simply nostalgic and completely forgot about my initial goal. When I realized how much time I spent looking through that mountain of “well organized” files, I had begun to become more desperate with every minute. I needed a break…

The time I spent reading other blogs was quite entertaining and a bit educating but it was not really helpful. So, I managed to waste another hour. That was the moment when I knew, I screwed up my planning once again. However, after thinking about all the time I have wasted, I decided to simply start writing. To be honest I cannot believe that it actually worked out and I managed to come up with something.

         
            It is not much but at least I managed to get over that issue of not having a single idea for my blog. It is kind of funny. I managed to make something out of nothing. In any case, I hope everyone had a great break and are ready for a final push of this academic year.
